This is my first every completed design.  I wanted to find a stitch that I hadn’t seen or done myself before so I looked through my stitch books and came across the Leafhopper Cluster.  I really liked the peaked design, it reminded me of the local Rangitoto Island.  A beautiful, green volcano island in the Hauraki Gulf of New Zealand.
